WELCOME INTRO

These pages are some thoughts, ideas and research into Men's style. We'll keep it light and breezy while hopefully sharing helpful guideposts to finding your most stylish approaches to life. We are 100% here to help if we can - without aiming cheap shots at any existing style you may or may not currently have. Another tone we'll steer away from is one that implies style and fashion actually matter in the big picture of life when of course, they don't really.

What's the point then? As with anything, a small discovery at skin deep can help unravel more important things within us. Perhaps if style deals with the superficial, we may find that while we aim to make changes to our appearances and social impact we learn more about ourselves than we planned - or maybe we'll just be glad to find a new shirt.

The goal here is to widen the lens for anyone interested in finding a new style for any reason or occasion. Perhaps a guy is interested in a fresh look for his interview or first date or a wife is looking for a tie maker for her husband. Unsure about jewelery on a guy? Tattoos? Perhaps you have a speech to deliver at a wedding and some tips would be welcome. Maybe you need to be able to dance at a Ball or Salsa Club and wonder what moves can get you by...hopefully some answers at least will be found here...

Autumn Cardies

A return to clothing this post (we confess most posts will be) and this one's a little outside the box: The CARDIGAN. Our take on the good old fashoned "cardy" is that a few years ago it came flying out of the fashion doors with the prospect of being a quick appearance that almost came across geaky and old school - both of which can be very cool. It surprised everyone by holding it's ground and has become a standard issue garment that guys would do well creating a permanent place for in the cupboard.

We've found some great items for you to shop around for and some very stylish 'style merchants' showing how to pull them off:

TIE & CARDY

Open-neck Cardy:

How about some of these selections you can easily get your hands on:

Diesel $110

Diesel $110

Banana Republic $130

Banana Republic $89.50

ZARA $39.90 (Our pick)

ZARA $39.90

Gucci $1035 (If you buy this over the ZARA you have some real problems. It's not that we really like this garment - it's OK - we just had to show you what a waste of money really looks like.)

Calvin Klein $88
